Host your event at Starr Horse Retreats and Arenas located in Minden, Nevada, 30 minutes east of Lake Tahoe on a 30-acre equestrian facility. We offer three separate houses for sleeping, four arenas, a 10-stall horse barn, a workshop room, multiple hammocks for meditation, and optional use of the obstacle course with the horses. We can sleep facilitators in the main house to accommodate sleeping for 12 participants and 3 facilitators.
Or Host your event at Rancho Rico, 30 minutes south of Yerington, Nevada, on an 88-acre riverfront oasis. Our 1,200 sq ft. barn loft has an open floor plan, kitchen, bath, AC, heat, and TV, and comfortably sleeps 8. The property is on 88 acres with a river for tubing and fishing. It boasts multiple entertaining areas including a stage, cabana with gas fire pit, outdoor spa with bathtub for 6, an old-time saloon, outdoor cooking area, French fountain, sweat lodge, tipi, event pavilion, a wet bar made from recycled wine bottles, swing set, hiking trails, multiple fire rings, campsites, and 3 RV hookups.
The Chalet
One of the houses we offer is called the Chalet. It has three bedrooms, 4 beds, a fully stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, and is surrounded by 6 hammocks overlooking the pasture and Sierra Mountains. A wrap-around deck is perfect for serving meals, star gazing, and watching the horses.

Container Cottage
The Container Cottage is a sweet little cottage in the middle of the pasture with a full kitchen, bath, and pull-out sleeper.

Rancho Rico
Rancho Rico is located 30 minutes south of Yerington, Nevada, in a secluded river valley. The East Walker River snakes throughout the 88-acre property designed for large gatherings. We offer a barn loft with sleeping for 8 for smaller retreats, and campsites for camping events.

Bunkhouse
The Bunkhouse is our second house. It has 6 beds with a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Enjoy Nevada's rich history with nearby boomtowns, mines, hot springs, casinos, and all that Lake Tahoe has to offer.

Chef Catalina
Chef Catalina is our in-house chef. She shops, preps, provides food service, and cleans up for 10./person/meal, with a minimum of 800.00 per weekend. She will add 20% for her time and labor on shopping receipts.

Arenas
Host your event using any of our four arenas. We have three competition-sized arenas 100' by 200', and a round pen that is 30' in diameter.
