Growing a Global Network of Horse-Centered Retreats
The Pegasus Constellation Teacher Training is an immersive training program for people who want to create transformational horse-human experiences while helping horses live healthier, freer lives.
Some participants will already own horse properties. Others plan to create one. Some will become retreat facilitators. Others will become Pegasus Pollinators—trained facilitators who help existing farms and equestrian facilities transition toward healthier, horse-centered environments.
Wherever you begin, the goal is the same: to help create a world where horses are honored as teachers, willing partners, and healers.
Our vision is to create a constellation of sanctuaries where horses are honored as healers. Each participating property becomes another star in the Pegasus Constellation, creating a growing network of places where horses and humans heal together.

A Comprehensive Approach
The Pegasus Constellation Teacher Training combines horse care, retreat facilitation, property design, business development, and education into one integrated program. Rather than focusing on a single discipline, it prepares participants to create meaningful horse-human experiences while improving the lives of horses.
Participants explore how ethical training, horse-centered living, thoughtful property design, and immersive retreats combine to create places where horses thrive and people reconnect with themselves, each other, and the natural world.

Horse-Centered Living
The environment we create for horses is one of the most important teachers in this program.Participants learn how thoughtful property design can improve horse welfare by encouraging movement, supporting healthy herd dynamics, and creating environments that better reflect the natural needs of horses. Rather than designing farms around human convenience, we explore practical ways to design them around the well-being of the horse.
Whether working with an existing property or creating a new one, participants learn principles that can be adapted to different climates, landscapes, and facilities.
Creating Transformational Retreats
Hosting a successful retreat involves much more than bringing people and horses together.
Participants learn how to develop meaningful experiences, build collaborative teams, work with guest facilitators, and create programs that reflect their own interests and the needs of their community.
Retreats may incorporate horses alongside complementary practices such as yoga, meditation, sound healing, Temazcal, flower baths, cacao ceremonies, Reiki, Light Language, nature-based experiences, and other modalities chosen by each facilitator.
The Pegasus Pollinators
Many graduates will become Pegasus Pollinators—teachers and facilitators who bring the Starr Horse Method into horse communities around the world.
Some will partner with horse property owners to host Horse Healing Retreats or Holistic Clicker Training Retreats on their land. Others will help farms and equestrian facilities develop horse-centered environments, improve horse welfare, or create new educational and retreat programs.
Like bees carrying pollen from one flower to the next, Pegasus Pollinators help new ideas spread from one property to another. Their work expands opportunities for both horses and humans, helping create a growing network of places where horses are honored as teachers, willing partners, and healers.

The Pegasus Constellation is our vision for a growing network of horse-centered retreats, educational programs, and sanctuaries connected by a shared commitment to improving the lives of horses. Some graduates will establish their own programs. Others will partner with existing horse properties. Others will help horse property owners create healthier, more horse-centered environments.
Like stars forming a constellation, each person and each property contributes something unique while remaining connected to the larger vision.

The Pegasus Constellation Teacher Training is currently in development as we build our new home at Standing Rock Ranch in Grass Valley, California.
Over the coming year, we’ll be documenting the creation of the program, the transformation of the land, and the growth of the Pegasus Constellation.
