Tackless Ride with Retired Race Horse

Riding tackless back to the barn is one thing—but riding away from the barn, tackless, is another. After grain time, Galaxy, a retired Thoroughbred racehorse, allows me to ride him with no tack out to the pasture. Then he wants to play with me, and we move through the obstacle course—no food, no ropes, no tack, nothing but the willingness to play. Then the others wanted to join in too.
It is beautiful when the horses choose to interact because they genuinely like you, because you are kind, empathetic, and fun. ✨
