Positive Reinforcement Horse Training | Tyler, Valentine & Feather
Tyler came to Starr Horse Retreats as a participant in our Holistic Clicker Training Program and stayed on to continue training with the herd.
Using positive-reinforcement clicker and target training, Tyler discovered that Valentine is quite the jumper! He has also begun riding Feather bitless and bareback, building their partnership through choice, communication, and trust.
Tyler has become part of the herd, and the horses absolutely adore him. As we prepare to move Starr Horse Retreats to Standing Rock Ranch in Grass Valley, California, we hope Tyler will keep making the trip to work with the horses every couple of weeks. They are going to miss him. ❤️🐴
