Some things never change! Jasper has been playing with Solar since he was a foal. In his baby footage, you can see the vulture scratches all over Solar’s back because apparently, the vultures attacked him during birth. I had heard that the predator birds attacked the placenta of cows out in the pasture and would literally peck out the eyeballs of the baby calves. Many of the horses in the herd had scratches on their backs as if it had been a huge battle the morning Solar was born.
